[PlanetKR] PhD/PostDoc Position in Knowledge Representation and Formal Argumentation at University of Koblenz-Landau

The Institute for Web Science and Technologies (WeST) at the University of Koblenz-Landau (Campus Koblenz)
offers a full-time position (TV-L 13) for a PhD candidate or a post-doctoral researcher on the topics

- knowledge representation and reasoning,
- formal argumentation,
- non-monotonic reasoning. 

The position is offered within the DFG project CAR (https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/K13dCnx1zVUXpgD5s9EmtF?domain=car.mthimm.de) and available immediately.
The initial employment will be for 24 months. An extended employment is foreseen, but cannot be guaranteed at this point. 

The successful candidate should have a Master's degree or a Ph.D. in Computer Science or some related field.
In addition, candidates are expected to have strong analytical skills, programming skills and experience in the field of logic
and knowledge representation. Experience in research on formal argumentation, for example through a bachelor or
master thesis in the field, is desirable but not mandatory.

high-ranking conferences and in PhD and postdoctoral studies.
