http://intelligentenvironments.org/conferences/ie12

Areas of Interest:

The Workshops proposals should be related to some area of Intelligent Environments. In general workshops are intended to act as a forum where researchers can engage in a more interactive discussion around a topic. Workshops provide an ideal forum for developing emerging areas of Intelligent Environments, or allowing in-depth discussions between researchers working in sub-areas of Intelligent Environments. The structure of the papers reflects this, allowing authors to submit papers of up to 10-12 pages in length. Topics can include areas addressed by the main conference call, or bring in new areas or applications. The multidisciplinary nature of the subject means we also welcome topics that include cultural, social, legal and ethical aspects of Intelligent Environments. Past topics have ranged from ambient intelligence through virtual environments to sociology.

Workshops Proceedings will be published by IOS Press and indexed by Thomson Reuters (formerly ISI).

Please submit a 1-2 page proposal under the following paragraph headings:
1. Personal contact details of proposers including name, job title, email address and website of your host organization.
2. Proposed Title of Workshop
3. Brief description of the topic area
4. Rationale (why work in this area would be timely and successful)
5. Suggestions as to how you would advertise your workshop (how you would reach your potential authors)
6. Brief details of any earlier previous workshops you have organized.
