Diversity and Inclusion Policy

KR Inc. fosters and supports diversity and inclusion (DI), recognizing the need for opportunity for all individuals. In accordance with this policy, and to promote its objectives,

  1. KR Inc. has a designated Diversity and Inclusion Representative on its Steering Committee, and every KR Conference Committee includes DI Chairs, one of whom is the serving DI Representative.
  2. KR Inc. supports the DI Representative and DI Chairs of KR Conferences in organizing conference related activities promoting diversity and inclusion.
  3. KR Inc. encourages the Program Chairs of KR Conferences to diversify committees and invited speakers, paying special attention to include members of the community from underrepresented groups and countries.
  4. KR Inc. provides funding for travel grants to support students and scholars from underrepresented groups and countries attending the KR Conferences.

Moreover, KR Inc. does not tolerate discrimination or harassment because of ethnicity, national origin, religion, creed, physical or mental disability, gender, sexual orientation, age, or on any other basis.
