[PlanetKR] Open Junior-Chair Assistant Professor Position @Telecom Paris - in Computational Biomedical Imaging

 Dear Colleagues, Apologies for cross-posting.   We are pleased to announce the opening of a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computational Biomedical Imaging at Télécom Paris.    The position is funded for 3-years - with possible extension for 3 more years - before tenure evaluation. This Junior Chair type of position comes with a very competitive start-up package including one fellowship for a PhD  student and an installation grant + reduced teaching duties. 
  Telecom Paris is part of Institut Mines-Telecom (IMT) and a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris).   The position is funded by the Engineering for Health (E4H) interdisciplinary center at IP Paris, with similar recruitment ongoing at ENSTA and Ecole Polytechnique related to other expertise than imaging, and with a similar preferred focus on cancer or degenerative diseases. Preferred key expertise for this position [sensors, multi-modal AI, microscopy, bioinformatics, inverse problems,..] is listed in the full Job Description document (see link below on how to apply).   The successful candidate will join the IMAGES team within the Image-Data-Signal (IDS) Department and the LTCI laboratory. The IMAGES team conducts theoretical, methodological, and applied research in mathematical modeling of images, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and computer graphics.
