Assistant/Associate Professorship in AI - University of Luxembourg


In the context of its Anne Beffort Excellence Programme, which prioritizes the recruitment of female scholars, the University of Luxembourg is opening within its Computer Science department an Assistant/Associate Professor position in Artificial Intelligence.


Depending on the qualification, the position will be offered as an assistant professorship (tenure track) resp. an associate professorship (tenured), with a promotion perspective to associate resp. full professor after 5 years following a positive evaluation.


In addition to the resources offered by the faculty, there will be a global 5-year start-up package of 250K Euro, together with other forms of assistance and grant opportunities.


The position is open to candidates from any AI subfield, including (but not limited to) Neurosymbolic/Agentic Computing, Knowledge representation and reasoning, Natural language processing, Human-centered AI, or Artificial general intelligence.
