[PlanetKR] PhD Position on Computational Logic in Amsterdam

Dear colleagues,

We have a 4-year PhD position open at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam 
on the topic "Practical Concept Interpolation for Realistic Ontologies". 
The project will involve research on description logics with 
applications in ontology engineering, machine learning and explainable 
AI, and is targeted at students with some knowledge on knowledge 
representation and computational logic (ideally modal or description 
logics).

Deadline for application is *23 May, 2025.

*Intended project start is in September, but we have some flexibility. 
Students who are still writing their thesis are encouraged to apply, but 
should finish their program by September 2025.
