Call for Papers -- PMAI 2025
4th International Workshop on Process Management in the AI Era
Co-located with ECAI 2025
Bologna, Italy | October 25 or 26, 2025

The PMAI 2025 workshop explores the intersection of AI and process
management, focusing on AI-augmented BPM systems, explainability, causal
reasoning, and generative AI. We invite submissions on novel approaches,
frameworks, and applications of AI for process management.

Important Dates

* Abstract Submission: May 8, 2025
* Paper Submission Deadline: May 15, 2025
* Paper Notification: June 30, 2025
* Camera Ready: August 31, 2025
* Workshop Date: October 25 or 26, 2025 (TBD)

Topics of Interest (including but not limited to):

* Multi-perspective process models (data, time, resources)
* Declarative processes and causal process intelligence
* Explainable and trustworthy AI-augmented processes
* Conversational AI, NLP, and human-machine interaction for processes
* AI-driven process discovery, conformance checking, and monitoring
* Generative AI for process modeling, execution, and prediction
* Machine learning for event recognition in unstructured data
* Multiagent systems, game theory, and mechanism design for processes
* Digital twins and value alignment in process management

Submission Details

Formats:

* Regular papers (up to 12 pages incl. references) -- must be citable and
unpublished.
* Short papers (2-4 pages incl. references) -- for position papers, system
descriptions, preliminary results, or extended abstracts of
submitted/accepted papers (with venue and status clearly stated).

Formatting: CEUR-ART 1-column style (Overleaf & offline templates
available: see workshop's website)
Review Process: Single-blind (author names visible to reviewers)

Publication & Presentation

Accepted papers will be submitted to CEUR-WS.org for open-access
publication under CC BY 4.0 and indexed by Scopus & DBLP (except extended
abstracts). At least one author must attend in person at ECAI 2025 to
present the paper.
