🚀 *Call for Tutorial Proposals – ICAPS 2025*
📅 Deadline: *April 27, 2025 (AoE)*
📍 Tutorials: *November 10–11, 2025*
🌐 More info: https://icaps25.icaps-conference.org
The *35th International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling
(ICAPS 2025)* invites *tutorial proposals* on all aspects of AI planning
and scheduling!
This year, we *especially welcome tutorials* bridging with *knowledge
representation (KR)*, *constraint programming*, and *operations research*,
thanks to our co-location with *KR 2025* and *CPAIOR 2025*.
📚 Proposals may target topics such as:
-
Software engineering best practices for developing/testing planning &
scheduling systems
-
Neural-symbolic methods & theory for integrating symbolic solvers with
neural models
-
Generative AI techniques (e.g. LLMs) for planning and scheduling
-
Machine learning & reinforcement learning for planning tech
-
Scalable planning & robust control of complex dynamical systems with
ML-based state estimation
-
Tools and theory in deterministic & stochastic optimization
-
Boolean Satisfiability and constraint satisfaction methods and solvers
-
Algorithms for stream processing & sketching with planning applications
-
Approximate dynamic programming & heuristic search advances
-
KR techniques like answer set programming, probabilistic logic
programming, and more
💡 We encourage:
-
Tutorials with *hands-on components* participants can explore remotely
or asynchronously
-
Tutorials linked to workshops (e.g., tutorials as primers for workshop
discussions)
📩 Submit your PDF proposal (title, type, summary, outline, duration, CV)
to:
*📬 icaps2025-tutorials at googlegroups.com*
Subject: *Tutorial Proposal for ICAPS-25*
🗓 Important Dates:
-
Proposal deadline: *April 27, 2025*
-
Notification: *May 11, 2025*
-
Tutorials: *November 10–11, 2025*
✨ Tutorials are *free to attend* for all ICAPS participants!
Help shape the future of automated planning and scheduling — spread the
word!
