[PlanetKR] Summer School on Argumentation 2024: Call for Registration

The 6th Summer School on Argumentation (SSA 2024) will take place from 12th
to 15th of September 2024 at the FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany. It will
be followed by the 10th International Conference on Computational Models of
Argument (COMMA 2024; 18-20th of September) and the associated workshops
(16-17th of September).

The main aim of SSA 2024 is to provide attendees with a solid foundation in
the basics of formal argumentation as well as insights into applying formal
argumentation and connections with other approaches in AI.

The school welcomes both students and researchers in different fields not
limited to argumentation, including e.g. non-monotonic reasoning, knowledge
representation, logic programming, linguistics, natural language
processing, philosophy, and psychology, just to mention a few of them.

The program includes tutorials by Christian Strasser (RUB Bochum), Kees Van
Berkel (TU Wien), Emmanuelle Dietz (Airbus), Hannes Strass (TU Dresden),
Floris Bex (University of Utrecht) and Nico Potyka (Cardiff University).
The program of the SSA 2024 also includes a doctoral consortium (a
mentoring program bringing together PhD students and senior researchers in
formal argumentation) and a student session organized by OHAAI.

We cordially invite participants for the SSA 2024. Please be aware that the
deadline for applications for the doctoral consortium is 1st August, and
the deadline for early registration is 18th August.
