Dear colleagues,

the Planning and Learning Group of Universidad Carlos III of Madrid, 
Spain, is about to open a 1 year post-doc (renewable at least 6 months) 
for a candidate with knowledge of CSP, Heuristic Search, Problem Solving 
and Machine Learning.

The candidate will work on a research project to design the public 
transport network of a city based on traces of real commutes. The 
position includes also some teaching load. Knowledge of Spanish is 
preferable but not required. Due to bureaucratic reasons we can only 
accept candidates with EU working permit.

Details of the position:

Requirements:

- PhD in Computer Science or similar field
- Knowledge of CSP, Heuristic Search, Problem Solving and Machine Learning
- High level of English, knowledge of Spanish is not required but it 
will be a plus
- Experience in research projects
- A list of publications in the area

Conditions:

- 1 year contract (extensible at least 6 months)
- Starting date: October 2021
- 37.5 working hours per week
- 2,480 euros monthly gross salary (14 installments)
