Dear all,

I have two new fully funded PhD positions to fill in the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at University of Ulm.

1st PhD project
- Focus: Formal and algorithmic aspects of Explainable AI.
- Background: Ideally, the candidate has a background in Knowledge-based Systems, AI Planning, or Natural-Language Generation.

- Focus: Explainability in AI from a human-computer interaction perspective. 
- Background: Ideally, the candidate has a background in HCI, HRI, Human Factors, or Experimental Psychology

Both positions can start as soon as possible, but there is flexibility. The positions involve teaching obligations (4SWS).
