ICAPS 2011 -- Final Call for Participation
==========================================

ICAPS 2011 website: http://icaps11.icaps-conference.org/

The organizing committee of ICAPS 2011, the 21st International
Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling, invites you to
participate in the conference, which will take place in Freiburg,
Germany, from June 11-16. ICAPS 2011 is part of the ICAPS conference
series, the premier forum for exchanging news and research results on
theory and applications of intelligent planning and scheduling
technology.

The conference will feature a pre-conference program of eight
workshops, seven tutorials, and a doctoral consortium (for the first
time held on a separate day, June 11). The main technical program will
include 48 oral presentations, selected out of a body of 138
submissions, as well as invited talks by

* Jason D. Williams, AT&T Labs Research, on "Spoken dialog systems
as an application of planning under uncertainty",
* Pascal Van Hentenryck, Brown University, on
"Last-Mile Disaster Preparedness and Recovery", and
* Michael P. Wellman, University of Michigan, on "Empirical
Game-Theoretic Analysis and the Behavior of Software Agents".

Online registration for the conference remains open until June 3, 2011
(UTC-12). To register, please go to
http://icaps11.icaps-conference.org/registration.html.

Information on the venue, on traveling to Freiburg
and on accommodation is available from the conference website:

http://icaps11.icaps-conference.org/venue/
http://icaps11.icaps-conference.org/venue/travel.html
http://icaps11.icaps-conference.org/venue/accommodation.html

Please note that many of the hotels listed on the accommodation page
have filled up in the meantime. We recommend using a travel reservation
website such as tripadvisor.com, expedia.com or otel.com, which still
offer some good deals. Be sure to search for the correct "Freiburg" (in
Southwest Germany, not Switzerland or Northern Germany).

We look forward to seeing you in Freiburg in June!
