The W3C Rule Interchange Format working group
http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/RIF_Working_Group has released its latest
version of several documents. These documents have a "last call" status:
comments should be made now to ensure consideration.

The documents are:
http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/FLD - Framework for logic dialects
This is a framework for defining expressive logic dialects, including those
with default and explicit negation.
http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/BLD - Basic logic dialect (Horn
withseveral syntactic extensions)
http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/PRD - RIF production rule dialect
http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/Core - The core RIF dialect.
This is a simple sub-dialect of BLD and PRD (There are various restrictions,
including a ban on function symbols).
http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/DTB - RIF datatypes and built-ins
http://www.w3.org/2005/rules/wiki/SWC - RDF and OWL compatibility. Defines
the BLD+RDF and BLD+OWL dialects.
