Ninth International Conference on the Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR2004)

Knowledge Representation and Reasoning is a vibrant and exciting field of human endeavor, and a key driver of innovation in computer science. It has also lead to significant advances in practical applications from artificial intelligence to software engineering.
The KR conference series is a leading forum for timely, in-depth presentation of progress in the theory and principles underlying the representation and computational management of knowledge. Topics covered include:

b.. reasoning techniques for incomplete & uncertain knowledge
c.. implemented KR systems
d.. KR in software engineering and planning
e.. KR in robotics and intelligent agents
f.. the Semantic Web
KR2004 is collocated with the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS) and will celebrate at a Joint ICAPS/KR Festival and Doctorial Consortium. The inaugural Ray Reiter Best Paper Award funded by Artificial Intelligence: An International Journal will be presented during the conference.
