<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;"><div>KR Early Career Award: Call for Nominations</div><br>Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Incorporated (KR Inc.) has established a KR Early Career<br>Award to recognize and promote outstanding early career researchers in knowledge representation and reasoning.<br>The award winner for 2023 will be announced at the 2023 KR conference in Rhodes, Greece, in September 2023.<br><br>ELIGIBILITY<br><br>Eligible for the award is any researcher who completed their doctoral degree in 2021 or 2022.<br><br>NOMINATIONS<br><br>Award candidates should be nominated by an academic familiar with their work (for instance, their PhD supervisor <br>or a PhD panel member). Self-nominations or nominations by the Award Committee are not allowed. Unsuccessful <br>candidates who completed their doctoral degree in 2022 can be nominated again next year.<br><br>HOW TO SUBMIT NOMINATIONS <br><br>Nominations should be submitted via Easychair: <a href="https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=krawards2023">https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=krawards2023</a><br><br>The name of the candidate should be put in the Title field, and the email address, affiliation, and defense date of the <br>candidate should be listed in the Abstract box. <br><br>A single PDF file (extension .pdf) should be uploaded consisting of:<br>-a curriculum vitae of the candidate<br>-an endorsement letter of at most one page from the academic nominating the candidate<br><br>The deadline for nominations is June 11, 2023. The award winner will be notified no later than June 20.</body></html>
